Start Times | 7:00am for both races

Packet Pickup | At Appalachian Running Company on Friday, October 18th, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm. Race morning packet pickup will at the start/finish on Sunday morning.
Time | Friday before the race from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and Sunday until 15 minutes before race start.
Please note: other people can pick up your bib number and chip but they MUST provide a copy of your ID or drivers license. Pictures are accepted form of ID.
Parking | Parking on race day will be available in several parking decks on Water Street and Market Street and parking lots in the historic Downtown area. Parking Information
Course | A scenic course in Charlottesville, VA starting and finishing on the Historic Downtown Mall. The course showcases Charlottesville's historic neighborhoods and the scenic paths along the Rivanna river loved by all local runners: it includes the historic Woolen Mills. The course is hilly with about 5 miles flat along the Rivanna river: please click on the mountain icon at the bottom left of the map for the profile.
Time Limit | The Half Marathon time limit is 3.5 hours (about 16 minute per mile pace). There will be a cutoff at mile 3.1. Anyone registered for the half marathon arriving at the 10k halfway point after 7:49 am (49 minutes after race start), will need to complete the 10k course only.
Course Safety | This is an open course with traffic present on the roadways. Please follow police and volunteer instructions and be aware of traffic on the course. Do not wear headphones if you cannot properly hear approaching vehicles or volunteer instructions.
Race Shirts | The race shirts are technical shirts from our partner Greenlayer. They fit true to size and come in a men's and women's cut. Please note that since race shirts are ordered weeks ahead of the race, we cannot guarantee sizes for registrations within three weeks of the event.
Awards | Awards will be given to the top 3 winners of the Half Marathon and 10K and to the top 3 winners in the following age categories: 19 and under, 20-29,. 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and above. 10K Awards will be at 8:30am. Half Marathon Awards will be at 9:30am. Awards will not be mailed: if you cannot stay, please pick up your award before leaving.
